എന്താണ് മകരജ്യോതി ??
അവര്‍ പറയുന്നു മകര വിലക്ക് തെളിയുന്ന അതെ സമയം ആകാസത് ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം തെളിയും എന്നും.
ജ്യോതി ശാസ്ത്രത്തില്‍ (astronomy) അല്പം അറിവുള്ള ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും അറിയാം ഒരു നക്ഷത്രവും ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ദിവസം ഉദിക്കില്ല എന്ന്. അതെപ്പോഴും ആകാശത്ത് ഉണ്ട്. ഇവര്‍ ആ ദിവസം കാണുന്ന നക്ഷത്രം സിറിയസ് എന്നാ നക്ഷത്രം ആണ്. രുദ്രന്‍ എന്ന് നമ്മള്‍ പൌരസ്ത്യര്‍ വിളിക്കുന്നു. സിറിയസ് എന്ന നക്ഷത്രത്തെ കാണാന്‍ ആണോ ഈ തിരക്ക് കൂട്ടി പോകുന്നത് ?? കഷ്ടം!! ഞാന്‍, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്, dec - january-february മാസങ്ങളില്‍ ഞാന്‍ കാണാറുള്ള നക്ഷത്രം ആണത് 8.6 പ്രകാശ വര്ഷം അകലെ ഉള്ള ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം. ചുവടെയുള്ള ചിത്രം ഞാന്‍ തന്നെ എടുത്തതാണ്. ഇതെടുക്കാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ തിരക്കിനിടയില്‍ സബരിമാലയില്‍ പോയോന്നുമില്ല. എന്റെ വീട്ടില്‍ വച്ച തന്നെ എടുത്തതാ. 12/11/2010 രാത്രിയില്‍ 11.37 നു എടുത്ത ചിത്രം ആണിത്.

The Government and the temple authorities have told the truth for decades. Most people know the truth, but many are not willing to accept or even comprehend the facts.
ReplyDeleteSince the truth is well-established, there is no question of superstition. But many uneducated people (I am not speaking of formal education here) get satisfaction through "True-believer syndrome" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True-believer_syndrome).
The government or the temple should not be blamed for this syndrome.
That is not correct...There have been no official statement or declarations from the govt or temple authorities. There have been unofficial ones though. So this is indeed a farce and need to be exposed

മകരജ്യോതിസ് എന്നൊന്നും ആരും മുമ്പിതിനെ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.മകര നക്ഷത്രം എന്നു ഒരിക്കലും പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. പഴയ പേരു മകരവിളക്ക് എന്നാണ്.അതു വിളക്കു തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നെന്നു എന്റെ ചെറുപ്പത്തിലെ ഓരൊ കുഞ്ഞിനും അറിയാമായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് കോവൂരും കൂട്ടരുമൊക്കെ വന്നശേഷമാണ് അവിടെ ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം ഉദിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന വിശ്വാസമുള്ള കാര്യം പൊതുജനം പരക്കെ അറിയുന്നതു തന്നെ. പൊന്നമ്പലമേട്ടിൽ കർപ്പൂരം കൂട്ടിയിട്ടു കത്തിക്കുന്നതു കാണുന്നുണ്ടെന്നതു നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളുടെ പഴക്കമുള്ള സത്യ്യമാണ്. എന്നാൽ അന്നൊന്നും ശബരിമല തീർഥാടകരുടെ ലക്ഷ്യകേന്ദ്രമായിരുന്നില്ല. അതീവ രഹസ്യമായി നടന്നിരുന്ന ഒരു പടയൊരുക്കത്തിന്റെയും കാലം മാനവികതയെ തോൽ‌പ്പിക്കുന്ന മാവേലിക്കഥയോളം പഴക്കമാർന്ന ഒരു ആചാരത്തിന്റേയും ബാക്കിപത്രമാണത്. ഒരിക്കലും വരാത്ത മാവേലിക്കു വേണ്ടി നാം ഓണം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതിലും എത്രയോ ആദരവോടെ മകരവിളക്കിനെ കാണേണ്ട ചരിത്രപരമായ ഒരു രഹസ്യം അതിൽ അന്തർഭവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിന്റെ നിർദ്ധാരണത്തിനു ഡാവിഞ്ചി കോഡിനേക്കാളും രഹസ്യാത്മകതയുമുണ്ട്.

ശാസ്ത്രവും ദൈവ ഭക്തിയും എല്ലാം ജന നന്മക്കുവേണ്ടി ഉള്ളതാണു. ഭക്തി കൂടി കൂടി ജനങ്ങള്‍ അന്ദന്മാര്‍ ആകുന്നു. ഇന്ന് ഏറ്റവും നല്ല ബിസിനസ്‌ ഭക്തി ആണ്. ജനങ്ങള്‍ ബോധാവന്മാര്‍ ആകേണ്ട സമയം കഴിഞ്ഞു.
ReplyDeleteThis spot is one of the major revenue sources for the government during pilgrim season. Officials and government know the fact that there will be uncontrollable mass during the period. Instead of using the revenue for providing necessary amenities to pilgrims, they are exploiting the beliefs of devotees and just diverting the revenue for other areas. We all know the fact that all the media hyped master plans blue prints etc… are still in discussions only.
ReplyDeleteThe attitude of the people who claims themselves as the propagators of science are in dilemma. They don’t want to point their finger towards the government, and the only other option remaining is to nail down the pilgrims. What can be inferred from KSSP's and its followers stand is that the pilgrims itself are blamed for their loss of life. One will be surprised to see the above said rational thinkers blaming the exploited for what they have suffered. The proclaimed intellectuals has to understand what exactly rational is.
Those who don’t try to know about the dynamic energy patterns and its variations near a pilgrimage centre are blindly going for physically interpretable examples for proving their side and diverting thoughts. In scientific terms they cannot even define what ‘belief’ is, because they only depend on scientific explanations.
For past so many years the above said ‘Vilakku, Jyothi & other Ritual’ were there, why no precautions were taken by the authorities to avoid such mishaps. Why KSSP is not coming up with a solution other than changing the belief of the mass, which is never going to happen.
What is the real problem? Is it ‘Vilakku, Jyothi & other Rituals? Or is that lack of necessary facilities?
No One will be against KSSP’s activities, but they must keep away from religion & beliefs as their knowledge in that area is premature and is not in-line with the activities, what they have decided to do. They must continue with what they are good at.
